First day of preschool!

Well, it was really the second first day of preschool because I was so worried about being late, I forgot to take pictures on the real first day! Addison's school is called Fingerprints and it is WONDERFUL!! She goes 2 days a week from 9-2:30 and she LOVES IT! She was so psyched last week to be going to "real" school! She plans her outfits, right down to the panties and lays them out just so, so she'll be all ready in the morning. They have "quiet time" at Fingerprints, so Addison is even allowed to bring her "ba" (blanket) and she thinks that is so cool!

Ryan's Graduation Party

Well, he went and got all grown up on us. It all happened so fast. I remember playing at the zoo with this sweet blonde 2 year old and thinking I wish he would stay this way forever. Funny how things change. Now, he's still sweet and blonde but 2 years turned into 18 in the blink of an eye. He's graduated from high school and is off to boot camp for the National Guard on Sunday.

While we were in Michigan I got to spend a few hours with my great friend, Julie and her sweet boy Nick! We went to a fantastic outdoor shopping center where the kids were able to play in the fountains and at great kids play area. The kids had a great time and I loved seeing you again JULIE!!!

The kids and I escaped the horrible heat and humidity of Texas for a milder, northern climate in Michigan! It was GLORIOUS!! Aunt Maggie hosted us for a few days and Papa welcomed us for the last 2. The kids had a BLAST...no really, they did. They were so good and loved all the attention they got from their aunts, uncles and Papa! I even got to escape for a quick trip to Pennsylvania to see my sister and her family for Ryan's Graduation party...pics will be coming!

Long time no blog!

Yes, I've been slacking. Most of you know how busy my life has become since Mike started working in Dallas. I've taken a new liking to mopping and vacuuming and my kids are used to the sometimes hasty exits from the house. I won't miss it when it's over but until then, we plug along, cleaning, playing, and now sweating in the June heat in Texas.

BUZZED!

I have been secretly waiting to buzz this baby's hair....Mike was all for it so off we all went to the bathroom, highchair in tow and out came the clippers! Grayson was less than amused at the whole "buzzing" process but I think you'll agree, it was well worth a tear or two. Look at that handsome, sweet baby boy!
